Ok. So I've been bad about updating this.

BUT I love having a collection of all the great recipes we've been trying. Most have been total winners - and we're starting to even see some repeats!

And here is what we are making this month:

JANUARY 2013 Freezer Meal Club

Last month we had a Frozen Cookie Dough Swap, which was a fantastic time (and a good use of resources!). So while we DID swap recipes, we prepped them ahead and just swapped the prepared meals.

Here is what we made in December:

Sweet and Sour Chicken

Salsa Chicken

Brown Sugar Bourbon Pork Chops

Pepper Steak

Turkey and Wild Rice Soup

This month we'll be trying some new recipes!  Excited to meet in a few weeks. As a reminder, here is what we'll be whipping up:

Beef and Black Bean Chili

Mac N Cheese

NOVEMBER 2013 Freezer Meal Club

I have to say it: having these meals in my freezer has been a LIFESAVER these past few months!  The fact that they are complete and ready to go allows me to think of one less thing per week. Most of the meals have allowed for 1 dinner plus leftovers, so it has been an awesome addition to my meal planning!

This month we'll continue with 5 meals (5 members =  5 meals).  Next month will be even more fun - we'll be inviting friends and incorporating a frozen cookie dough swap in with our regular Freezer Meal Club. SO MUCH FUN!

For this month, let me know which recipe you'll be using in the comments or by email - and if you have a recipe you've already intended to use, just send me the link and I'll add it to the list below.

If you have feedback on any of the recipes we've used in the past or want to see a former recipe back in the rotation, let me know!

Cranberry Ginger Pork

Pineapple Teriyaki Burgers

OCTOBER 2013 Freezer Meal Club

Looking forward to our next meet up! We'll be welcoming a new member and come away with 5 (!!!!) meals this time!

Details for the October meet-up will be discussed in our private Facebook Group.

Here are 5 meals to choose from. I believe a few of you already have recipes you are planning to use. When you get a chance, get me the URL link so I can add them to this page as a reference.

Please comment on this post which recipe you'll be prepping, and whether you'll be prepping at the meeting OR if your meal will be prepped and dropped off before the meet-up.

REMINDER: We will be preparing FIVE of each recipe, not 4, this month!

Maple Dijon Glazed Chicken

Oh So Easy Pork Chops

Salsa Chicken
(we can do this or just the simple version of a jar of salsa, chicken and frozen corn/black beans) -http://chefmommy-brandao.blogspot.com/2011/03/salsa-chicken-slow-cooker.html

Brown Sugar Chicken

Pot Roast and Veggies
(Note: look for a 2-3 lb pot roast, NOT 3-4 lbs! And look for BOGO)

SEPTEMBER 2013 Freezer Meal Club

Great time at our first meet-up! Over time, we'll adjust and tweak how we do things so we can maximize efficiency AND fun.

Details for the September meet-up will be going out soon!

Brown Sugar Chicken

Saucy Pork Chops

Pot Roast and Veggies
(Note: look for a 2-3 lb pot roast, NOT 3-4 lbs! And look for BOGO)

Here are 4 recipes to choose from. If you have one that you found and would like to use, just let us know what it is!

To confirm your spot, please leave a comment on this post with the recipe you will be using this month, as well as if you will be present or just dropping off prepped meals.

We look forward to having everyone! We will confirm before next Tuesday exactly how many will be participating (as in 4, 5 or 6), and will email everyone in the group so you know how many ingredients to buy!
